President Bola Tinubu has won the APC presidential primary held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, across the country.

The party states that the elections were held concurrently in 8,809 wards across the country. President Bola Tinubu and Stanley Osifo participated in the competition.

President Tinubu won a landslide victory in a number of states. Osifo, an Edo businessman who received zero votes in multiple states, was defeated by him.

Along with millions of party members, the president and his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, exercised their civil rights by casting ballots in his ward in Ikoyi, Lagos State.

In several of the federation’s states, governors, National Assembly members, government representatives, and other APC leaders participated in the exercise.

President Tinubu received 10.9 million votes to defeat Stanley Osifo, who received 16,504 votes, according to the results compiled from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

At the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Center in Abuja, the results of the presidential primary poll were compiled.

President Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) are preparing for the 2027 general elections in light of this significant victory.
