In a midnight raid, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) agents arrested Lagos socialite and nightclub owner Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, also known as Pretty Mike, and his manager Joachin Millally, along with former Big Brother Naija Housemate Tuoyo Ideh, after conducting undercover surveillance at the Proxy Nightclub, 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, for approximately four hours.
In a statement signed by its Director of Media and Advocacy, the agency claimed that during the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025, the operation retrieved containers of prohibited materials, such as laughing gas and Loud.
In response to intelligence, early on Sunday, October 26, NDLEA agents from the Lagos Strategic Command raided the Proxy Nightclub, where a drug party was taking place. Cartons of illegal chemicals, such as laughing gas and Loud, were found at the club’s store and among suspects during the party.
Following the Proxy Nightclub raid, the NDLEA issued a warning to nightclub owners and partygoers about the growing trend of planning and attending drug parties, stating that it is illegal and dangerous in Nigeria.
