Three Nigerians, Calvin Bassey (defender), Ademola Lookman (midfielder), and Victor Osimhen (forward), are included in the CAF Best XI (Team of the Tournament) for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, which was formally announced by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) after the competition. The Best IX was unveiled on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
Throughout the competition, the TSG used a fully integrated evaluation system that included live data platforms, multi-angle video feeds, remote and on-site assessments, and specialized video analysts, according to CAF. This approach made sure that every player’s efforts were evaluated impartially during games.
