Arsenal and Chelsea, two competing English teams, played each other in the second leg of the Carabao Cup first semi-final on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
Arsenal defeated Chelsea 1–0 (Arsenal won 4–2 on aggregate).
Kai Havertz scored the game-winning goal deep in stoppage time, to secure the 1-0 victory over the Blues, clinching a win and sending Arsenal into the final.
The Gunners won at the Emirates Stadium to secure their spot in the final at Wembley Stadium in March.
The first leg at Stamford Bridge had already given Arsenal a 3-2 advantage, and the late winner completed the match.
This is Arsenal’s first League Cup final since 2018 and a significant shot at silverware this season. Arsenal will face either Manchester City or Newcastle United in the final next month at Wembley.
