With multiple awards, Liverpool Football Club (LFC), also known as The Reds, is the most successful English team in the history of the European football tournament and one of the most successful football clubs in the world. The 2025–2026 season will mark Liverpool’s 134th season overall and their 64th consecutive season in the English Premier League.
Liverpool won the Premier League (PL) in 2024–2025. The Reds are having their third-best start to the domestic championship in the club’s history, having won five straight games since the 2025–26 Premier League season began.
But in an unexpected turn of events, Liverpool has dropped four straight games for the first time since February 2021 and only the fourth time for a Premier League champion. The team has lost 2-1 to Crystal, 2-1 to Chelsea, 2-1 to Manchester United, and 3-2 to Brentford thus far. Liverpool’s success from the previous season seems so far gone, as the team has fallen to its lowest point in thirty-two years.
